Job Summary

This role involves joining the Central Police Directorate of Lower Saxony to manage software packaging, release control, and IT projects for the NIVADIS case processing system. You will be responsible for creating installable software packages, steering migrations within the product portfolio, and coordinating the planning and implementation of releases. As a key member of the Digital Transformation Campus, you will lead software development projects and ensure the technical integrity of police applications. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field; alternatively, completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in IT if holding a vocational qualification
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in IT if no formal degree is held
  • Foundational experience in leading IT projects
  • Experience in software packaging and release coordination
  • Professional experience with Linux-based application environments

  • The workplace is located in Hanover-Lahe. Candidates must be able to work within the TV-L (Entgeltgruppe 10/11) framework. Partial mobile work and home office are available after the initial training period.
