As a Building Automation System Integrator, you will play a pivotal role in transforming buildings into smart, sustainable environments by implementing advanced IoT, AI, and cloud-based solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the professional commissioning of hardware—including sensors, actuators, gateways, and edge devices—directly at client sites. You will conduct systematic technical assessments of existing infrastructure, integrate new solutions using protocols like Modbus and BACnet, and provide expert technical support both remotely and on-site. This role is ideal for those who enjoy combining technical hands-on work with customer interaction, acting as a bridge between the company and facility management teams. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or technician degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology, Energy Electronics, Plant Engineering, Building Automation, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the commissioning of building automation systems
  • Practical experience in DDC/PLC programming and system integration
  • Proven track record in the successful implementation of technical projects
  • Experience in control cabinet construction and technical building equipment (TGA)
  • Experience in customer-oriented communication and technical support

Additional

  • Valid driver's license (Class B) required for customer visits. Willingness to travel approximately 40% (potentially higher based on project volume). Ability to work remotely within Germany or up to 10 days per year from other European countries.
