Job Summary

As a Building Automation Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in implementing aedifion's IoT solutions to enhance energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions in commercial properties. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the professional commissioning of hardware such as sensors, gateways, and edge devices, as well as conducting technical site surveys and infrastructure analysis. You will be responsible for integrating these solutions into existing building management systems using industry-standard protocols and providing high-quality technical support both on-site and remotely. This role is unique for its blend of hands-on technical execution and strategic client advisory within an innovative tech company. You will act as a central interface between the company, facility managers, and subcontractors, ensuring seamless communication and project success. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or technician degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology, Power Electronics, Plant Engineering, Building Automation, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the commissioning of building automation systems
  • Practical experience in DDC/PLC programming and system integration
  • Proven track record in the successful implementation of technical projects
  • Experience in control cabinet construction and TGA sensor/actuator technology
  • Experience in customer-oriented communication and technical support

Additional
