Job Summary

As a Building Automation Technician at aedifion, you will play a pivotal role in making buildings smarter and more sustainable by implementing IoT solutions to reduce CO2 emissions. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the professional commissioning of sensors, actuators, gateways, and edge devices in close coordination with facility management. You will perform systematic technical assessments of building infrastructures, integrate systems using protocols like Modbus and BACnet, and provide technical support both remotely and on-site. This role is unique because it combines hands-on hardware installation with high-level system integration and customer advisory in a mission-driven tech company. You will act as a central technical interface between the company and its clients, ensuring that energy-efficient building operations are realized through modern cloud and AI technologies. The position offers high flexibility with mobile work options and a strong focus on professional growth within the green energy transition.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or technician degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Refrigeration/Air Conditioning, Power Electronics, Plant Engineering, Building Automation, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the commissioning of building automation systems
  • Proven track record in DDC/PLC programming and technical system integration
  • Practical experience in control cabinet construction and TGA sensor/actuator technology
  • Experience in technical project implementation and customer-oriented communication
