Job Summary

As the Lead Software Engineer for Process Intelligence at Bayer, you will bridge the gap between strategic business needs and technical execution. You will take full ownership of the process intelligence roadmap, specifically focusing on domains like Procurement or Finance, to drive efficiency and cost reduction. Your day-to-day involves leading a team of engineers and analysts to design, develop, and deploy scalable process mining and task mining solutions. You will act as a primary strategic partner for business stakeholders, translating complex requirements into technical designs and actionable insights. Required Skills

Education

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field

Experience

  • Several years of experience in process intelligence, technology consulting, or software implementation
  • Professional experience in data engineering, process mining, and automation
  • Hands-on experience in a business domain such as Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, or Customer Service
  • Experience with leading process intelligence platforms like Celonis
  • Technical leadership or mentoring experience with engineers and analysts
  • Experience with cloud platforms and Databricks for scalable data processing
