Job Summary

This leadership role involves managing the Hydraulic Engineering and Forestry department for the city of Dessau-Roßlau. You will be responsible for the strategic coordination and operational control of diverse areas including flood protection, wastewater management, urban fountains, and forestry administration. Key duties include personnel leadership, budget management, and representing the city's interests in large-scale construction and planning projects. You will also lead the acquisition of funding from EU, federal, and state programs and manage complex water law approval processes. The position offers a unique opportunity to shape the infrastructure and environmental protection of a UNESCO World Heritage region.
