Job Summary

This role involves working at the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) in the field of clay mineral and sediment analysis. On a day-to-day basis, the successful candidate will determine cation exchange capacity, perform aqueous extractions, and conduct liquid analysis using ion chromatography. Responsibilities also include grain size analysis, preparing spray-drying samples for X-ray diffraction, and handling claystone samples within a glovebox environment.
