This role involves supporting the 'Third Nationwide Forest Soil Condition Survey (BZE III)' at the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR). As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of soil and plant samples, from organizing incoming samples to performing complex extractions such as aqua regia digestion. A significant portion of the work involves instrumental analysis, specifically using ICP-OES to measure trace elements, and managing the resulting data within Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). You will ensure high quality standards through rigorous quality assurance protocols and documentation.
