Job Summary

This research position at the Chair of Computer Architecture at TU Dresden focuses on the cutting-edge development of low-level benchmarks and workload generators for hardware components such as processors and memory systems. As a key member of the research group, you will design and implement interfaces for hardware-software model parameters and manage energy measurement infrastructures. Your day-to-day will involve evaluating performance and energy models, contributing to scientific publications, and presenting findings at international conferences. The role is uniquely positioned within a high-performance computing environment, offering access to state-of-the-art data center infrastructure and collaboration with national research partners. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master's or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience

  • Practical experience in low-level programming using C and Assembly
  • In-depth knowledge of computer architecture and processor design
  • Experience in designing and conducting benchmarks and hardware/software evaluations is preferred
  • Professional experience in scientific research and publication
  • Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and student project support
