Job Summary
This permanent position at the Center for Interdisciplinary Digital Sciences (CIDS) within TU Dresden offers a unique blend of scientific research and strategic IT leadership. As a key member of the Information Services and High-Performance Computing (ZIH) department, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and development of Windows software deployment across the university. Your daily activities will include overseeing application development, managing release and change processes, and providing leadership to technical teams. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in Computer Science who enjoys solving complex IT challenges in a high-performance computing environment. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master's or equivalent) in Computer Science, Media Informatics, Applied Mathematics, or a comparable engineering or natural science field (e.g., Physics) with a focus on informatics.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in Windows Server environments
- Leadership experience in a professional or academic IT context
- Practical experience in IT project management
- Professional experience in scientific research and application development
