Job Summary

As an IT Onsite Support Technician in Munich, you will serve as the primary point of contact for in-person technical assistance, ensuring the reliability and security of the company's IT infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include diagnosing hardware and software issues, performing 'Smart Hands and Feet' support for remote teams, and managing the full lifecycle of IT assets from imaging to disposal. You will also be responsible for installing and maintaining network equipment, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and collaborating with vendors for onsite services. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys hands-on technical work and direct user interaction. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, global environment where you will manage critical infrastructure components and mentor junior staff. This is a full-time, on-site position with a fixed-term contract of one year, requiring occasional travel to regional sites.

Required Skills

Education

CompTIA A+, ITIL, or similar certifications are an advantage.

Experience

  • Professional experience in an IT Support, Desktop Support, or similar technical role
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and frameworks
  • Proven experience in hardware, software, and networking fundamentals
  • Experience in asset management and infrastructure device commissioning
