Job Summary
As a Team Lead for Traffic Management in Stuttgart's Central and North districts, you will spearhead a team of eight employees within the Office of Public Order. Your daily responsibilities involve organizing traffic coordination, promoting sustainable mobility, and implementing traffic safety concepts. You will be a key player in high-profile urban development projects, including the IBA projects and the new Rosenstein district. The role requires a strategic mind to translate legal requirements into actionable traffic and mobility planning strategies. You will represent the road traffic authority in site visits, meetings, and specialist conferences, collaborating closely with internal and external departments. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Public Management, Diploma in Public Administration (Diplom-Verwaltungswirt), or a comparable qualification qualifying for the higher non-technical administrative service.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in public order administration
- Specific experience within a road traffic authority preferred
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating complex projects or standards
- Experience in applying road traffic and administrative law
- Leadership experience in organizing and leading a team of up to eight staff members
