Job Summary

This role is based at the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) in Hilden, within the newly established Configuration and Distribution Center (KuD). As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of hardware, including the installation of base software configurations, the development of automation for software deployment, and the optimization of update processes for international IT operations. You will handle a diverse range of hardware such as computers, telecommunications systems, and switches, while also managing cryptographic resources and procurement processes. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of technical configuration and logistics. It offers a permanent civil service or public sector contract (EG 9b TVöD) and the unique opportunity to actively shape the operational processes of a brand-new organizational unit.
