Job Summary

As an IT Architect at the Federal Office of Administration (BVA), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital infrastructure for German and European public security. You will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and evolution of critical central IT applications, including the National Weapons Register and the Central Register of Foreigners. Working within an architectural team and alongside external service providers, you will manage a complex landscape of over 70 high-availability systems. Your daily tasks will involve piloting new technologies, integrating DevOps and containerization processes, and representing technical interests in national and international committees. Required Skills

  • Experience in managing distributed applications and complex system landscapes with high availability requirements
