Job Summary

The Federal Office of Administration (BVA) is seeking a Project Coordinator to join its Consulting Center, focusing on organizational consulting and personnel staffing. In this role, you will independently prepare and execute consulting projects, coordinate and manage project teams, and contribute to organizational consulting with an emphasis on personnel requirements, resource management, and economic efficiency. You will analyze large datasets, develop customer-centric solutions, and present project results. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in law, administration, economics, business psychology, business informatics, mathematics, or physics, or a relevant administrative qualification, coupled with at least one year of experience in project coordination or management. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of public administration, work in diverse teams, and engage in meaningful projects across Germany.

Required Skills

Education

Accredited university degree (minimum Bachelor's) in Law, Administration, Economics, Business Psychology, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Communication Science, Media Studies, or equivalent; or a qualification as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt); or successful completion of preparatory service/promotion procedure for the higher non-technical administrative service (Beamter with A 11 BBesO).

Experience

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in project coordination, project leadership, or project management
  • Professional experience in leading project employees and teams (advantageous)
  • Experience in presenting project results and moderating workshops (advantageous)
