Job Summary

This role focuses on the design and evolution of an Enterprise Data Model within an Azure Lakehouse environment. As a Data Engineer, you will be the architect behind the data platform's backbone, specifically implementing Data Vault 2.0 methodologies (Hubs, Links, Satellites) and Kimball-based Data Marts. Your daily activities will include defining modeling standards, ensuring data governance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical structures. You will also play a key role in integrating new source systems and making architectural decisions regarding automation and orchestration. Required Skills

Education

University degree in (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in data modeling with a focus on Data Vault 2.0
  • Experience working within Cloud/Lakehouse environments, specifically Microsoft Azure
  • Proven track record in implementing Hubs, Links, Satellites, and PIT/Bridge concepts
  • Experience with programming in Python or Scala for technical model implementation
  • Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into data structures
