Job Summary

As a Laboratory Technician at Roche's Penzberg site, you will play a vital role in the Diagnostics Operations department, ensuring the high quality of reagents and kits used globally in pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Your daily responsibilities include performing complex analytics using cell-based methods, immunology (ELISA), and molecular biology techniques (such as MagNA Pure and Cobas). You will be responsible for the independent evaluation and documentation of results according to DIN ISO and GMP standards, while also maintaining laboratory equipment and managing materials. Joining a collaborative team of 11 professionals, you will benefit from a modern laboratory environment that balances experienced and junior staff. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Laboratory Technician (Biology/Chemistry), further training as a Technician, or a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a laboratory environment, ideally with a focus on biology
  • Practical experience in cell-based and molecular biological analytics
  • Previous experience working in a GMP-regulated environment or Quality Control is preferred
  • Experience in evaluating and documenting analytical results according to industry standards
