Job Summary

In this high-impact leadership role, you will manage a global team of 15-20 engineers across multiple European locations, including Berlin, Mülheim, and Budapest. Your primary focus will be leading the 'Turbine Manufacturing Support Dimensional and Design' group, where you will oversee the strategic direction and technical support for the manufacturing of hot gas path components for large gas turbines. Day-to-day, you will ensure manufacturing quality, design for manufacturability (DfM), and on-time delivery while fostering a culture of innovation and high performance. You will act as a critical bridge between engineering, procurement, and program management to ensure components meet strict design acceptance criteria. This position is unique for its global reach and its direct influence on the supply chain resilience and digital integration of Siemens Energy's large gas turbine business, offering a significant opportunity to drive the energy transition through technical excellence and leadership.

Required Skills

Education

University degree or equivalent in an engineering or manufacturing field.

Experience

  • 10+ years of professional experience in an engineering or manufacturing field
  • Management experience in gas turbine engineering, hot-gas-path component design, or R&D project management
  • Demonstrated leadership experience empowering global teams within an international matrix organization
  • Proven experience with modern manufacturing technologies and quality assurance practices
  • Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration
