Job Summary

As a Staff Research Engineer, you will lead the central Process Design Kit (PDK) function across multiple technology platforms, including integrated photonics and quantum/MEMS device concepts. Your daily responsibilities involve defining the PDK roadmap, managing the design-to-fab interface, and ensuring that models, verification flows, and documentation are consistent and traceable. You will act as a critical bridge between design and fabrication teams, overseeing quality control for DRC/LVS/PEX flows and coordinating validation plans based on wafer data. This role is unique for its high level of technical leadership in an open-access pilot-line environment, offering the chance to shape the development of cutting-edge semiconductor and photonics technologies. The position is based on a permanent contract with a competitive salary structure and the opportunity to work within a sophisticated matrix organization involving internal teams and external users.
