Job Summary

This role seeks a highly motivated R&D Process Engineer specializing in stepper-based lithography to join the SAL MicroFab team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining critical lithography processes within a diverse, multi-project R&D environment. Key daily tasks include establishing repeatable process baselines, maintaining control through Statistical Process Control (SPC), defining detailed SOPs, and ensuring high uptime and consistent performance of stepper tools and periphery equipment. You will lead hands-on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-changing R&D setting, collaborating closely with other process and maintenance engineers. Applicants must possess a degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, coupled with at least five years of hands-on experience as a stepper process engineer in a semiconductor FAB environment. Required Skills

Experience

  • Proven experience with process control, SPC, Problem Solving, and CIP methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a research-driven environment
