Job Summary

As an Avionics Specialist at the Nordholz Naval Airbase, you will serve as the technical backbone for the Mk88A helicopter's avionics systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve performing critical inspections, maintenance, and systematic troubleshooting within the MES I and MES II maintenance levels. You will be responsible for ensuring aircraft operational readiness through rigorous system testing, retesting, and pre/post-flight checks. A key part of the role includes meticulous documentation of all technical activities within the SASPF system. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed vocational training as an Aircraft Electronics Technician (Fluggerätelektroniker) or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in aviation maintenance
  • Hands-on experience with SASPF documentation systems
  • Professional experience in systematic troubleshooting and repair
  • Experience with Mk88A systems (ATN 7 or ATN 6) is highly desirable
