Job Summary

As an Electrical and Communications Engineering Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining Germany's highway infrastructure within the Tunnel and Telematics department in Weimar Legefeld. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve organizing and performing technical inspections and condition assessments of electrical and communication systems. You will be responsible for developing maintenance concepts, planning preservation measures, and preparing tender documents for engineering services. This role is essential for protecting critical infrastructure, ensuring the functionality of traffic control systems, and coordinating maintenance services. This position offers a stable, permanent contract within a public sector framework (TV-Autobahn), providing the unique opportunity to contribute to large-scale national infrastructure projects. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical, communication, or information technology engineering
  • Experience in the inspection and assessment of technical systems
  • Experience in planning and preparing tender documents for construction and engineering services
  • Experience with public procurement regulations (GWB, VgV, VOB, HOAI) is preferred
  • Several years of professional experience in the specified field of activity is advantageous
