Job Summary
This leadership role involves overseeing the Sports and Facilities Management department for the City of Brühl, managing a team of 22 employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic development of sports concepts, coordinating with schools and clubs, and managing the allocation and maintenance of sports facilities. Day-to-day duties include budget administration, procurement of sports equipment, and handling fee collections. Required Skills
Education
Qualification for the General Administrative Service (Career Group 2, 1st Entry Level) or successful completion of the Administrative Training Course II (Verwaltungslehrgang II).
Experience
- Professional experience in public administration or general administrative service
- Experience in personnel management and leading a team of staff
- Professional experience in school or sports administration is desirable
- Experience with municipal budget processing and financial management is preferred
- Proven experience in structured and independent work environments

- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including afternoons and evenings. Candidates with foreign degrees must provide proof of equivalence via ZAB (Zentralstelle für ausländisches Bildungswesen).
