Job Summary

This role involves the technical support and strategic development of the SAP ecosystem at the University of Mannheim, specifically within a collaborative network with the University of Freiburg. As a key member of the University IT (UNIT) team, you will be responsible for managing modules such as FI, FI-AA, and OpenText-VIM, while maintaining the shared university master data. A primary focus of the position is driving the migration to S/4HANA, where you will lead sub-projects, optimize end-to-end processes, and collaborate closely with key users and module owners. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or Diploma in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments
  • Deep functional knowledge in central SAP modules, specifically FI, FI-AA, or OpenText-VIM
  • Experience in managing complex software development or implementation projects
  • Proven track record in analytical and systematic problem-solving within IT infrastructures
