Job Summary
As an IT Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of medical practice software (tomedo®) for healthcare providers across Germany. Your daily responsibilities include performing remote installations of servers, databases, and specialized tools, while troubleshooting technical issues and coordinating with the development team for complex bug fixes. You will act as a primary technical contact for customers, translating complex technical concepts into understandable language for non-technical users. This role offers high flexibility with a hybrid work model that combines home office, local office presence, and on-site customer visits. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience as a qualified IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or in a similar technical role
- Practical experience in installing and maintaining servers and databases
- Experience in explaining technical concepts to non-technical users in a service-oriented manner
- Experience with various operating systems and basic scripting knowledge is preferred
- Proven ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively

Additional
- Willingness to travel for on-site customer visits is required. Must be able to work at least 30 hours per week if choosing the part-time option. Remote work is possible from anywhere within Germany.
