University of Applied Sciences degree or Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, or a similar field; alternatively, a completed vocational training as an IT System Electronics Technician with relevant professional experience.

• Professional experience in the administration of nationwide telecommunications systems
• Several years of relevant professional experience required if applying with a vocational qualification (IT System Electronics Technician)
• Experience in 2nd level support and fault management according to ITIL
• Experience in the configuration and operation of VoIP infrastructures
• Experience in project planning and procurement of hardware and software components

• Must undergo and pass a security clearance check (LSÜG). Must provide a signed declaration of loyalty to the constitutional order. Location: Mainz. Full-time (39 hours/week) or part-time possible. Permanent and fixed-term (until Sept 2027) positions available.
