Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position at the Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut (FLI) involves supporting one of the world's leading research institutes for animal health and biosafety. Based at the Greifswald – Insel Riems headquarters, the successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of various cell culture media for the entire site and the characterization of cell lines using standard molecular biology procedures. Daily tasks include DNA/RNA preparation, PCR, sequencing, and genotyping, as well as the cultivation and cryopreservation of eukaryotic adherent and suspension cells. A significant portion of the role involves meticulous documentation according to the quality management standards of the accredited cell bank and performing essential laboratory maintenance tasks.
