Job Summary

This position is part of the Research Training Group 'AirMetro' at TUD Dresden University of Technology, focusing on the integration of highly automated air transport in urban areas. As a Research Associate and PhD candidate, you will conduct system-level impact analyses of Innovative Air Mobility (IAM) using agent-based models. Your daily work involves developing and applying simulations within the MATSim framework to understand how IAM services affect travel behavior, mode choice, and destination selection. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of researchers and international mentors to distinguish between shifted demand from existing transport and newly induced travel demand.
