Job Summary

This role is based at the Chair of Molecular Functional Materials within the Faculty of Chemistry and Food Chemistry at TUD Dresden University of Technology. As a Research Associate and PhD candidate, you will focus on the development of intercalation strategies for novel quantum materials as part of a DFG Emmy Noether project. Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting scientific research, handling nanomaterials, and performing advanced spectroscopic analyses. Beyond technical research, you will manage organizational tasks within the project and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master's or equivalent) in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Materials Sciences, or a similar field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in nanomaterial handling and spectroscopic analysis
  • Experience in XRD, Raman, and PL spectroscopy techniques
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborative research efforts
  • Proven track record of independent, solution-driven work
  • Experience in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary scientific thinking
