The City of Münster is seeking a Head of IT Finance Team to lead citeq, their municipal IT service provider. In this leadership role, you will manage a team of 14 employees, overseeing the operation and development of the 'Infoma' financial software used by public administrations. Your daily responsibilities include resource management, knowledge transfer, and process optimization to ensure high-quality service for municipal clients. You will act as a strategic partner, collaborating with other team leads to coordinate cross-departmental initiatives and potentially deputizing for the department head. Required Skills

Education

University degree with an IT focus (Business Administration, Computer Science, or Business Informatics), or a 3-year IT vocational training, or a Bachelor of Laws/Arts for general administrative service (HSPV).

Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in IT or a related functional area
  • Professional experience in the field of public finance
  • Leadership experience (e.g., as a project lead or deputy manager) using modern management methods
  • Experience in managing technical or functional issues within an ERP or financial software environment
  • 3+ years of specific experience in IT/digitalization for candidates from a general administration background
