Job Summary
This role is based within the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) in Nuremberg, specifically within the 'Integration Projects' unit. As a Policy Advisor, you will be responsible for the professional oversight and evaluation of integration projects under the federal program 'Social Cohesion – Local. Networked. Connected.' Your day-to-day activities include conceptualizing and organizing events and workshops, conducting budget and impact monitoring, and representing the Federal Office at public events. You will also draft speeches, presentations, and reports to support the program's public relations and strategic development. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree (or equivalent university degree) preferably in Social Sciences, Sociology, Economics, Political Science, or Public Administration with a minimum grade of 'Good'.
Experience
- Proven professional experience in the field of integration measures for immigrants
- Professional experience in project funding and the technical support of projects is desirable
- Experience or knowledge in budgetary and grant law is advantageous
- Experience in organizing network meetings, workshops, and public events
- Experience in drafting official documents, speeches, and presentations

Additional
- Must be willing to undergo a basic security clearance (SÜ1) according to § 5 AsylG. Requires willingness to undertake occasional multi-day business trips within Germany. Candidates who have previously been or are currently employed by the Federal Government (Bund) cannot be considered for this fixed-term position.
