This role involves managing IT infrastructure projects for the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), specifically focusing on the setup, dismantling, and relocation of office locations. You will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing technical requirements, coordinating the implementation of IT components such as switches, racks, and workstation equipment, and managing mobile communication assets including laptops and tablets. Acting as a central point of contact, you will interface with construction firms, electrical contractors, and the Federal Information Technology Center (ITZ Bund). Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field. Alternatively, a completed STEM vocational qualification with an IT focus or equivalent degree from a recognized professional academy.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT infrastructure management or mobile communication
  • Experience in coordinating and steering technical IT projects
  • Experience in network technology or electrical engineering is highly desirable
  • Experience in public sector regulations (BSI, IT-WiBe, BDSG) is beneficial
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an IT-related role (for non-degree holders)
  • Experience with ticketing systems and administrative communication channels
