Job Summary

The Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP) is seeking an experienced leader to head their Building Management group at the Garching campus. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of 20 professionals across technical, infrastructural, and commercial building management sectors. You will be responsible for the maintenance, modernization, and technical infrastructure of approximately 65 buildings, including green spaces and traffic areas. Your daily responsibilities include disciplinary leadership, process optimization, ensuring legal compliance for technical systems, and managing external service providers ranging from catering to technical maintenance.
