Job Summary

The Deutsche Rentenversicherung (DRV) Berlin-Brandenburg is seeking a Team Lead to manage the Control Team within the Audit Services department. In this role, you will be responsible for the organizational and disciplinary leadership of your team, ensuring high standards of personnel development and health and safety compliance. Your day-to-day tasks involve strategic planning of employer audit quotas, monitoring team workloads through performance statistics, and coordinating annual audit communication campaigns. You will act as a central point of contact for jurisdiction issues between pension insurance providers and handle complex correspondence with employers, health insurance funds, and insolvency practitioners regarding social security and contribution law. This position is ideal for experienced professionals in the German social security sector, offering a secure public service career with flexible working hours, home office options, and a structured onboarding process. The role is based in Berlin or Brandenburg and offers a competitive salary according to public service pay scales (A 11 / E 11).

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Pension Insurance (Bachelor/Diploma), Business Administration, Public Management, Finance, or a qualification as a Social Insurance Specialist (Sozialversicherungsfachwirt) or equivalent.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of company audits, collection point audits, or special audits within the German Pension Insurance (DRV)
  • Proven experience in leadership and personnel development
  • Professional experience in managing administrative processes and legal correspondence
  • Experience in strategic workload planning and statistical evaluation
