Job Summary

This role is a crucial opportunity to drive digital transformation within the Rent and Insurance department of the German Pension Insurance (DRV), one of Europe's largest statutory pension insurers. The Digitalization Manager will be responsible for building and sustaining a digitalization network, providing technical guidance to Digitalization Pilots, and developing a comprehensive digital transformation strategy for the department. Key tasks include creating implementation concepts for digital applications, focusing on RPA, automation, and artificial intelligence, and actively participating in quality assurance measures. Candidates must possess a degree in relevant fields (e.g., Administration, Business Informatics) or equivalent vocational qualifications, coupled with professional experience in digitalization or change management, ideally within the public administration sector. Required Skills

Education

Completed Bachelor's degree (or equivalent Diploma (FH)) in Administrative Sciences, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Social Insurance, or a comparable field; OR Social Insurance Specialist certification; OR completed three-year vocational training with an IT or administrative focus (e.g., Digitalization Management Clerk, IT Specialist for Data and Process Analysis, Social Insurance Clerk); OR eligibility for the higher non-technical social insurance service career track.

Experience

  • Professional experience in digitalization or change management, ideally with relevance to public administration
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in digitalization or change management if holding a three-year vocational training qualification
