This role involves working with a market leader in the aerospace engineering sector, specifically within a physical laboratory environment in Langenhagen. As a Materials Tester, you will be responsible for the precision-oriented preparation, execution, and evaluation of material analyses and testing procedures. Day-to-day tasks include preparing microsections and tensile bond samples, conducting hardness and microhardness tests, and performing microscopic evaluations. You will also handle the embedding, grinding, and polishing of samples according to strict specifications and operate both analog testing equipment and X-ray analysis tools. The position is highly attractive due to its permanent contract structure, significant salary progression based on IG-Metall tariffs (ranging from €22.75 to €36.25 per hour), and excellent long-term takeover prospects.
