Job Summary

As a Senior Analytics & Data Modelling Manager at Vodafone Business, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales performance through advanced data insights. Your daily responsibilities include conceptualizing and executing the entire lifecycle of regular and special analyses, providing critical decision-making support up to the executive management level. You will be responsible for mentoring and technically guiding colleagues within the analytics and data modeling team. A significant part of the role involves building and developing sophisticated tools for analyzing customer-specific information in close collaboration with Business Intelligence, IT, and other stakeholders. This position is unique for its high level of strategic impact, offering the opportunity to identify business risks and opportunities and translate them into actionable recommendations. The role supports a hybrid working model, allowing for a blend of office presence in Düsseldorf and remote work, including options for temporary work from abroad.

Required Skills

Education

University degree with a focus on Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Business Informatics with a strong emphasis on data modeling.

Experience

  • At least 6 years of professional experience in Big Data, Performance Management, Controlling, or Analytics
  • Several years of professional experience specifically in the field of data analytics
  • Proven experience in the technical leadership and mentoring of analytics professionals
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is highly preferred
  • Extensive experience in conceptualizing and executing complex data analysis lifecycles
