Job Summary
This role requires a System Specialist to ensure the timely and complete processing of traffic data, crucial for end-customer billing and the supply of prepared data to various specialized departments. Key responsibilities include analyzing and optimizing managed systems, establishing robust monitoring, and leading the resolution of complex incidents by coordinating development teams, external vendors, and service providers. You will actively contribute to software quality improvement through incident/problem management and regular review meetings. The specialist supports project phases from feasibility through stabilization post-Go-Live. Furthermore, you will be responsible for automating operational workflows, managing system capacity using dedicated tools, and ensuring strict adherence to prescribed security guidelines, including participation in SOX and Security Audits. This position demands comprehensive IT and process knowledge within the telecommunications sector, coupled with hands-on experience in operating systems, databases, and cloud environments.
Required Skills
Education
Technical training or a University of Applied Sciences degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Experience
- 5 years in professional experience following technical training, OR
- 2 years in IT Application Operations or Telco Network Operations following a relevant university degree
- Comprehensive process and IT knowledge in Telecommunications
- Professional experience in steering external employees and service providers
- Experience in Incident/Problem Management and software quality optimization

- Location in Düsseldorf; Ability to work full-time or near full-time part-time (minimum 30 hours); Ensuring compliance with prescribed security guidelines and supporting SOX and Security Audits.
