Job Summary

This role is based within the Special Units department of the Rhineland-Palatinate Police (PP ELT) in Mainz. As an IT Network Specialist, you will be responsible for the planning, setup, operation, and maintenance of network structures specifically for Counter-UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) technology. Your daily tasks include administering local and regional networks to ensure secure data transmission between sensors, configuring firewalls and VPNs, and managing Synology NAS systems. You will also handle the inventory and coordination of electronic end devices and serve as a technical point of contact for manufacturers.
