As a Payroll Specialist for the Central Payroll Office of the Diocese of Speyer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing for a defined group of approximately 6,500 employees. Your daily activities include maintaining digital personnel master data, calculating sick pay, and ensuring compliance with tax and social security regulations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding all payroll-related inquiries and handle communication with external authorities such as health insurance providers and social security agencies. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in payroll accounting and administration
  • Extensive experience with wage tax, social security, and collective bargaining law
  • Proven experience in digital payroll control and master data maintenance
  • Experience in communicating with government authorities and social insurance providers
