Job Summary

As an IT First Level Support Specialist at Unfallkasse Baden-Württemberg (UKBW), you will serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of IT services for approximately 350 colleagues. Your daily responsibilities include managing the ticket lifecycle—from acceptance and classification to resolution—and coordinating with Second Level Support when necessary. You will handle user and rights administration within Windows Active Directory, monitor server and network systems, and configure end-user devices like notebooks and smartphones. This role is highly dynamic, involving software deployment, troubleshooting IT infrastructure, and contributing to the continuous improvement of ITSM processes and knowledge base articles. The position offers a secure, permanent contract under the TVöD-VKA public service collective agreement, featuring flexible working hours, mobile work options, and a structured onboarding process, making it an ideal environment for a communicative professional passionate about digitalization and user support.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT Specialist) or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT Helpdesk or technical support roles is highly desirable
  • Practical experience using Ticket and CRM systems
  • Proven experience with Microsoft operating systems and M365 applications
  • Experience in hardware configuration for notebooks and mobile devices
  • Experience in user administration within Active Directory environments
