Job Summary

As a Systems Engineer for File Services, you will play a critical role in supporting the digital infrastructure of the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Your daily responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and administration of Linux-based storage systems, primarily utilizing NFS and SMB protocols. You will be tasked with troubleshooting and resolving incidents according to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs), optimizing system performance, and executing complex data migrations. Beyond maintenance, you will contribute to the evolution of file service architectures and develop internal automation tools using PowerShell and REST APIs. This position is ideal for technical professionals who value national security and stability, offering the chance to manage one of Germany's largest and most complex IT environments. Required Skills

Education

Completed IT vocational training or degree in a related field.

Experience

  • Experience in developing internal tools and automation
