Job Summary

As an Automation Engineer at this biotechnology firm, you will play a pivotal role in managing the world's largest fermentation plant for plant cell cultures. Your daily responsibilities include monitoring and planning the installation, qualification, and commissioning of automation equipment within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will be responsible for overseeing automation and process control systems, ensuring compliant operations of complex production plants, and managing technical documentation. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Technician for Energy Technology / Process Automation or a University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in control, drive, and automation technology
  • Proven experience implementing automation projects in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, or plant engineering sectors
  • Professional experience with PLC systems such as Simatic S5/S7, TIA, WinCC, and PCS7
  • Experience working within a GMP-regulated environment is preferred
  • Professional experience in independent project management and cross-functional collaboration
