Job Summary

This role involves managing the IT infrastructure and user support for the school systems within the Göttingen district administration. As an IT Service and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for first- and second-level support, providing IT workstations, and maintaining digital media technology. Your daily tasks include the administration and configuration of central IT infrastructure elements such as LAN/WAN/WLAN networks, VPN services, firewalls, and server systems. You will also manage mail servers, the IServ pedagogical platform, and user accounts. Beyond technical maintenance, you will create technical documentation, assist in procurement processes, and contribute to budget planning for IT requirements.
