Job Summary

This role involves operating and monitoring chemical production facilities in a full-time, continuous shift system for a global specialty chemicals and high-performance materials group. The Chemical Plant Operator will be responsible for overseeing and adjusting process parameters in raw material storage, the wastewater treatment plant, and the sewage system, coordinating closely with the control room. Key tasks include preparing and providing necessary production materials, reporting unusual plant conditions, coordinating plant startups, shutdowns, and changeovers, and managing sludge processing and disposal, including sampling and sample transport. The ideal candidate will have a completed technical education, experience with production plant monitoring and control systems, and a willingness to work in shifts.
