Job Summary

As a Data Center IT Service Technician in the Heidelberg area, you will be responsible for the physical lifecycle of hardware within a professional server environment. Your daily activities involve the assembly and disassembly of server racks, installing and removing hardware components such as servers, storage systems, and switches, and managing complex cabling tasks involving both copper and fiber optic (LWL) connections. You will act as a primary responder for troubleshooting physical and optical issues and must document all technical actions accurately in English within the customer's management systems.
