Job Summary

This role involves supporting the crash test and simulation department for complete vehicle concepts, specifically focusing on high-speed front, side, and rear impact scenarios. The successful candidate will develop and validate vehicle structural concepts to ensure compliance with passive safety regulations and internal specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include steering external simulation service providers, coordinating calculation variants, and independently preparing and evaluating physical crash tests. A significant portion of the work involves analyzing simulation results, performing minor modifications to simulation models, and collaborating with cross-functional process partners to define and track technical measures until targets are met. This position is particularly attractive as it offers the opportunity to work for a major German automotive manufacturer in Munich, providing a professional environment with 30 days of annual leave and compensation based on the ERA Bavaria collective agreement.
