Job Summary

This role involves the independent execution of experimental setups, maintenance, and repairs on both series production and prototype vehicles for a major German automotive manufacturer. You will be responsible for the care of high-performance press vehicles, performing complete or partial vehicle teardowns, and measuring components according to strict testing protocols. A key part of your daily work includes installing various measurement technology systems, analyzing system performance, troubleshooting errors, and documenting findings. You will actively contribute to product development and participate in vehicle testing trials both domestically and internationally. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Automotive Mechatronics Technician (Kraftfahrzeug-Mechatroniker).

Experience

  • Professional experience in vehicle assembly, maintenance, or experimental setups
  • Proven experience using BMW-specific diagnostic tools such as Ediabas and INPA
  • Experience in high-voltage environments (HV1/HV2 certification required)
  • Demonstrated experience in handling measurement systems and vehicle diagnostics
  • Experience with BMW Group or BMW M product portfolios

  • Valid Class B (III) driver's license required; Internal B2 driving license or higher preferred; Forklift license required; Willingness to travel for multi-week testing trials domestically and abroad; High-voltage qualification (HV1 minimum, HV2 preferred).
