This role involves taking project responsibility for the design, integration, and testing of electrical systems and components within the naval shipbuilding sector in Hamburg. You will be responsible for creating technical inquiries and order specifications, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the technical implementation meets contractual requirements. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating between internal departments and external partners, evaluating bids, and preparing acceptance tests and commissioning protocols at subcontractor sites. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Communications Engineering, Information Technology, Marine Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a qualification as a state-certified Technician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the shipbuilding or naval industry is highly desirable
  • Experience in the design, integration, and testing of electrical systems and assemblies
  • Experience in technical negotiations with suppliers and bid evaluation
  • Experience in creating test specifications and protocols
  • Knowledge of naval construction regulations, standards, and norms is an advantage
