Job Summary

This role involves operating and advancing one of Germany's largest IT landscapes within the IT System House of the Federal Employment Agency. As a Senior Professional System Engineer, you will be part of the ERP Logistics Products unit, specifically supporting the 'EFA' (Electronic Facility and Asset Management) system. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the technical and functional operation of SAP modules (RE-FX and PS), performing software customizing, conducting system monitoring, and providing 2nd level support. You will work in an interdisciplinary environment using agile methodologies like Scrum and SAFe to ensure system availability and security. This position is particularly attractive due to its high flexibility, offering up to 80% remote work, a permanent contract, and the opportunity to work on a large-scale public sector ERP system undergoing modernization toward S/4HANA. The role combines technical maintenance with strategic development in a stable, public-service environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Computer Science or Business Informatics.

Experience
